Internet, yesterday I did something that I have never done before...
Are you ready for this?
(Wait for it...)
I opened the hood of my vehicle.
And just WHY did I do this, you might be wondering (and so I will tell you.) I did this because I was bound and determined to change my burnt out headlight - you know, the one that the mechanic (whom I just paid $1100 to) FORGOT TO CHANGE AND STILL PASSED ME ON MY INSPECTION (who, me? bitter? naaah!!) But I digress, the important thing to know here is that I don't know anything about cars. I barely know how to drive one, and there I was, staring at all kinds of dirty car parts.
It took me a little over an hour, I used the mirror on my blush compact to see what the hell I was doing, I scraped my hand about a thousand times and shouted several choice adjectives, and I came to realize why most mechanics probably have short hair... But by George, I DID IT!
And so to celebrate, I did what any self-respecting thirty-something would do.
I happy-danced. Right there in my driveway. Full on busted several moves. It may seem like the most unimportant thing to have ever happened, but it was a total victory to me. Short of popping babies out of small places, it was right up there on my list of things to do right before I break out the Wonder Woman costume.
Carry on.

Wow! I'm mega impressed. I would never know where to begin with something like that. And I love that you used your makeup compact. LOL
