happy birthday, trouble!

(please note:  in honor of this girls birthday, i am writing this entire blog entry in lower-case letters.)

this is jenn.

jenn is pretty much amazing.

jenn is also someone i am so lucky to know.  if you know her, then you are lucky too, and if you don't know her, then you should email her and wish her happy birthday, because she is someone you won't soon forget.

jenn has been my friend for approximately a million years.  please note that this is only an approximation...  we attempted to figure out how many years we have actually known each other a few days ago while consuming margaritas.  but we discovered that doing math while drinking tequila is not a good idea.  and then we laughed a lot.

i can only say that i love this girl dearly.  our friendship has stood the test of time and distance and even the test of sharing a dorm room and not killing each other.  (i mean, there was just that one incident with the hi-lighters, but she forgave me for that.)  it is the type of friendship that just exists, strong in it's foundation, without question, any time either of us needs it.  i am pretty certain that jenn will someday trek hundreds of miles (on a tight schedule) to visit me in a nursing home, and i am also certain that she will have alcohol with her.  she's so reliable like that.

she is one of my bestest.  and she is the bestest of many others too, because of the type of friend that she is.  and i hope she has a kick ass birthday celebration!!
